Shelly Carrier Obituary

It is with very heavy hearts for everyone who knew Shelly well. She was a hard worker and a great loving Mother & Daughter & Friend for her parents and sons there will always be a piece missing in their lives, but her spirit will always remain strong within their hearts.

A novel could be written about this women and the memories made from playing in the backyard with the boys to playing bingo and cards with close friends. Everyone she touched she impacted immensely in only the best of ways. Shelly was the spark to all our lives and without her there will be no fire.

Shelly loved the outdoors and camping with her boys will always be remembered but never the same. For Deven nights and lunches in the camper will always be cherished. For Connor there will never be a basketball games that passes when her loud cheering and banter will be heard.

She was tough as nails and smart as a whip. She was a protector of her boys like a mama bear protects her cubs. Not a day will pass where she’s not thought about because of the massive impact she had on each day of our lives her boys world revolved around her and her’s around them. She was also her parents rock.

Every achievement that her boys accomplish in the future will be in loving memory & honour of her. To light the way like she did, we pray time will heal the big wound in our hearts.

To the boys she was their everything. Although she may have left this world, her spirit will always be with us.

She will be missed by everyone & never be forgotten. She was loved by most and respected by all.

Shelly is survived by her father Kevin; partner Frances; her mother Janice, sons Connor & Deven, ex-husband Sean, Jeffrey, Stephanie, Alice, David as well as grandparents, many aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews and very close life long friends.

A funeral service will be held at the MacMillan & Drapeau Chapel on August 25, 2023 at 11am. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
