On Wednesday, February 21, 2024. Terrence (Terry) Carter a loving husband, stepfather, grandfather and great-grandfather of Dalhousie, passed away peacefully at Campbellton Regionale Hospital with family by his side.

Terry is survived by his loving wife Margaret Rose (Malley) of 39 years of Dalhousie. His 5 stepchildren Debbie Ouellette (Billy) , Brenda Gallen (Gilles), Michael Gallen (Tara), Blair Gallen (Brenda), Shelly Gallen (Griff). He had seven grandchildren and was a great-grandfather to many. He took pride in being "Papa" to his granddaughters and 4 youngest great grandchildren of Ontario; who he called "his babies".

Terry was known for his love of the fire department where he devoted many years of service. He was a loving man, a kind soul and an extremely hard worker. He enjoyed many trips to Ontario to visit his family in Guelph, Chatham and Wawa in Northern Ontario. He loved country western music, chocolate bars, rocking in his chair, watching the news and a fan of the Toronto Blue Jays.

Our family would like to extend sincere gratitude to nurse Christine on the third floor of the hospital. Her compassion and exceptional care to keep Terry and his family comfortable leading up to his passing was admirable.

Terry will be deeply missed by his family and all who has the pleasure of knowing him. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the cancer society in his honour.
