Treffley Carrier

September 23, 1946 - April 12, 2022

It’s with sad hearts we announce the passing of Treffley Carrier of Lorne, who passed away at the Villa Renaissance Dalhousie, on April 12, 2022 at the age of 75. Born in Lorne, he is the son of the late Edmond and the late Opal (Godin) Carrier. 

  Treffley is survived by his brother Donald (Theresa) of Bathurst as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and by his special cousin John. He was predeceased by his brother Gene.

  Treffley had a really kind heart and always willing to give someone a hand. He loved his Dixi Lee which he ate plenty of. He worked for The IP many years ago and was in an accident involving a timber jack which left him unable to work. He loved life and especially his tractor. His smile could light up a room and he will be greatly missed.

 A graveside service will be held at the St. Maria Goretti Cemetery on Friday, May 27 at 11am. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
