Troy Maxwell Buckle 

Troy Maxwell Buckle passed away on May 22, 2026 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital surrounded by his family at the age of 53. 

Troy is survived by his wife Angela Buckle (Culligan) of Belledune, NB; his mother Maxine Buckle (Breen) of Mount Pearl, NL; his children Amber (Ryan) Wheeler of Miramichi, NB, his sons Evan (Katie), and Colby Buckle of St John’s NL, and his step daughter Brooklyn Gourlie of Belledune, NB; his granddaughters Sophia and Scarlett Wheeler of Miramichi, NB; his sisters Kimberly (Omar) Whiteway of Mount Pearl, NL, and Ashley (Tony) Buckle of Bridgewater, NS, nephews Oliver and Ethan Whiteway of Mount Pearl, NL and Luke Buckle of Bridgewater, NS. 

He is predeceased by his father David Buckle.

 Troy lived a very full life and made friends everywhere he went. He had a big personality and an even bigger heart. He loved the simple things in life like morning coffee on the deck and going for a drive in his Mustang. Troy touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan & Drapeau Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the MacMillan & Drapeau Chapel on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 from 6pm-8pm, with Funeral Service to follow at the Chapel on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 2pm. 

The family requests in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Bathurst SPCA or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
