**Obituary for Vance Grimes**

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Vance Grimes, of Dalhousie and devoted husband to Cora, who departed this life on January 22, 2026, at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 76. Born in Dalhousie, Vance was the son of the late Alford and Bessie Grimes.

Vance is survived by his loving wife, Cora, as well as his brother Terry, residing in Saint Catherine, ON.

Besides his parents, Vance was predeceased by his brothers Allan, Delbert, Stanley, Freddy and Tim.

A funeral service to honor Vance's life will be held at St. John Bosco Church in Dalhousie on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 3:00 PM.  Funeral arrangements are entrusted to MacMillan & Drapeau Funeral Home in Black Point. 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the New Brunswick Cancer Society, an organization that holds significant importance to them.

Vance will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and the lasting impact he had on those around him.
