 Velma Godin 

    The death of Velma Godin of Belledune occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on February 5, 2020 at the age of 74. Born in Lorne she was the daughter of the late Walter Carrier and the late Edna Mallaly. 

  Velma is survived by her children; daughter Denise (Micheal) Thomas of Belledune, son Shawn (Anya) of Ottawa; grand daughter Amanda (Brendan) of P.E.I; great grand son Henry of P.E.I;  sisters Joyce Godin (Edgar) of Bathurst; Norma (Silvio) Carrier of Dalhousie; Betty Carrier of Bathurst. She is also pre deceased by her parents; brother Conrad and her Husband Alonzo.

The family would also like to thank Dawn Hickey care worker and companion of Belledune. 

Her funeral will be held at the St Gabriel’s Church Jacquet River on Monday morning February 10, 2020 at 11 am. Donation to the cancer society or palliative care (Chaleur Hospital) would be appreciated by the family.   

She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
