Vone LaPointe

The death of Vone LaPointe, of Seaside, occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on November 22, 2024 at the age of 77. He was the son of the late John H. LaPointe and Rosella (Hickey) LaPointe.

Vone was a man who had done everything. He had some passions and hobbies in his life including fishing, trekking around the woods, driving his four wheeler and Ski-doo in the winter, Camping, but most of all his passion was his grandchildren.

He is survived by his children; Elvis LaPointe (Joy), John LaPointe, Kelly LaPointe (Mell),siblings; Mary Ann, Gabriel, Lisa, Donna, Adrien, Bernadette, Rose-ann, and Russell, grandchildren; Jamey, Niko, Nikita, Crystal, and Kirk, as well as 5 great grandchildren.

Besides his parents, Vone was predeceased by his wife Elva (Welch) LaPointe siblings; Twin Beth, Wayne, and Blanche.

Per Vone’s wishes no funeral service is to be held. Arrangements are in the care of MacMillan & Drapeau Funeral Home, Black Point.
