It is with deep sadness that the family of Wayne Carrier announce his sudden passing. He passed peacefully at home on June 28 at the age of 73. He was the son of Angus Lapointe and Emma (Hickey) Carrier.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Bernadette, his children Shawn of Noel Settlement, Dave of Moncton, Carrie (Bill) of Riverview and Jennifer of Belledune.
He was predecease by his youngest son Wayne. He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Ashley, Hayley, Tyler, Jordan, Julie, Chelsea and Ethan, great grandchildren Nico, Naomi, Eleanor and Harper who he loved dearly. His surviving siblings Claude, Steve, Kirk, Gene, Willie, Durbin, Christine, Martha, Eva, June and Linda. He had so many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews that he adored.
He loved a visit and a good chat. He was always up to hear or tell a story. He loved the outdoors, loved to hunt and fish. He loved his family above all, we will miss him always.
A celebration of life will be held at the Belledune Recreation Centre on July 04 from 3pm- 6pm. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan & Drapeau Funeral Home, Black Point.
